Share what you're reading!

If you’ve been eyeing Netgear’s top Wi-Fi 7 and mesh Wi-Fi systems and taken aback by their high cost, the wait is over. The networking vendor today unveils a long list of discounted networking hardware, including its top-tier Wi-Fi 7 devices, available during Amazon’s 2025 Prime Day sale event. Finally, you’ll likely be able to afford one!

Note: As the name suggests, discounts on Amazon Prime Day 2025 apply only to Prime members. The cabinet below will help you with becoming one.

Amazon Prime membership signup links

An Amazon Prime membership offers more than just free 2-day shipping. It includes streaming (Prime Video and Amazon Music), Amazon storage with unlimited photos and 5TB of video, discounts on groceries (Amazon Fresh and Whole Foods), and much more. You have a couple of options:

  • The standard plan costs $14.99/month or $139/year with a 30-day free trial. If you’re eligible for government assistance, you can enroll in a discounted plan for $6.99 per month.
  • The Prime Student (for those aged 18-24) costs $7.49/month or $69/year, with a 6-month free trial.

All of these options come with a free trial period. You won’t be charged during this time or judged if you cancel the membership before the trial ends—all the benefits you’ve enjoyed during the trial remain yours to keep.

Netgear and Amazon Prime day the Nighthawk M6 Pro 5G WiFi 6E Hotspot is one of the discounted products
The Nighthawk M6 Pro 5G mobile hotspot is one of Netgear’s Wi-Fi hardware products that is available at a deep discount during the 2025 Amazon Prime Day.

The list includes a host of Wi-Fi 7 Nighthawk routers and Orbi systems, but the most notable is the Nighthawk M6 Pro mobile router, of which the $999.99 retail price has been notoriously expensive, even when considering it’s currently one of the best travel routers that feature a built-in unlocked 5G cellular modem.

During the Prime Day period, the M6 Pro can be had for only $659.99. Still not exactly cheap, but much easier on the stomach.

Here’s a highlight of Netgear’s main discounted Wi-Fi hardware—links include applicable variants, available until July 11:

  • Orbi 770 Series (3-Pack Mesh): $699.99 (was $899.99)
  • Orbi 870 Series (3-Pack Mesh): $1084.99 (was $1299.99)
  • Nighthawk RS700S Router: $499.99 (was $599.99)
  • Nighthawk RS300 Router: $279.99 (was $299.99 )
  • Nighthawk M6 Pro Mobile Hotspot: $659.99 (was $999.99)
